Friends of World Doctors Orchestra e.V.

The non-profit association “Friends of World Doctors Orchestra e.V.” was founded in 2012 to give the orchestra’s audience and its family and friends the opportunity to engage in supporting WDO beyond their attendance at a concert. The Friends are providing sustainable financial support for WDO to cover for costs associated with e.g. concert venue and rehearsal space as well as instrument rental, thus significantly contributing to the success of the orchestra, its concerts and the funding of the designated charity projects. Everyone can become a “Friend”, there is no need to play an instrument, and no need to be a doctor. You simply love the idea and want to stay in touch with the orchestra and its concert sessions all over the world.

As a member of the “Friends” you enjoy various advantages. You have the privilege of purchasing discounted tickets for the concerts of WDO and are invited to visit the musicians backstage, meet the conductor and participate in special events with the musicians. Selected concerts will be made available exclusively to the “Friends” through online livestreams which you can watch and listen to, regardless of your whereabouts.
