The organization focuses on food security, street medicine, and harm reduction, operating with a large volunteer base and partnering with local businesses, schools and other non-profits to deliver direct support and restore dignity to those in need.

The Community Outreach Intervention Projects (COIP) within the School of Public Health, University of Illinois at Chicago, was founded in 1986 to address HIV/AIDS, particularly among people who use drugs.  COIP operates from storefront sites in 5 locations with an open-door  friendly environment for people to drop in and seek help with a wide variety of problems.  COIP also has a Mobile Outreach Unit to provide services anywhere in Chicago.

This concert session is generously supported by Therakos Healthcare Limited.
