It was a special honor to open the concert with 'Vocci della Natura' by the Catalan composer Jordi Cervello, with instrumentation specially arranged for the WDO and for these charity concerts.
The proceeds of this concert were used to support l’Unitat de Recerca en Medicina Oncològica Molecular i Translacional de l’Institut de Investigació Biomédica August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical (IDIBAPS) and to Grup Àgata, Associació Catalana de Dones Afectades de Càncer de Mama.
The concert session was supported by Col·legi de Metges de Barcelona, Col·legi de Metges de Girona, Mutual Médica, Laboratoris Esteve, BBVA, Chemo Espana, Institut Català de la Retina, Òptica Hispano and B. Braun.
