sanofi-aventis

Concert July 4, 2009, Berlin:

Main sponsor of the orchestra is sanofi-aventis

sanofi-aventis has been dedicated to humanitarian sponsorship for the past 20 years, with the goal of contributing together with its civil society partners to reducing inequalities and ensuring that health care is more easily available for everyone.

One of these projects is "access to medicine". 80% of the world's population has little or no access to medicines. The pharmaceutical industry must rise to this challenge. At sanofi-aventis, we take action through practical initiatives.

Today sanofi-aventis’ humanitarian sponsorship is backed by an international strategy built around the central pillar of healthcare. It includes the donation of medicines and vaccines as well as longer-term activities. This means that, in addition to reacting to humanitarian emergencies, we implement programs for prevention and training, educational and social support, and improving access to healthcare.
